We all have a responsibility to take care of our planet and part of how we do this is by using packaging that is compostable, reducing our waste and choosing suppliers who have similar policies. The Shellfish Pig

“We are 100% plastic free as we recently decided to stop selling bottled water, which was our last plastic product within our control. As a marine scientist and chef it’s two fold for me. Firstly I’m aware of the devastating effects plastics has on the world’s oceans and marine life. Anyone taking any steps, however small, is doing the right thing and contributing to healthier oceans and marine life moving forward. Secondly, I love seafood and want healthy and sustainable fish stocks. Plastic breaks down into minute particles which are eaten by smaller fish which are in turn eaten up the food chain.” Nick Archer

“All of our cordials are actually made using surplus fruit helping fight food waste! We are moving towards metal lids instead of plastic ones and we have now stopped using bubble wrap, using a recyclable version instead, moving one step closer to being plastic free.
